‘Black Panther’ Star Lupita Nyong’o Danced As The Pink Ranger At SDCC


Black Panther will introduce audiences to Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, an undercover operative of the all-female special forces team who serve as T’Challa’s bodyguards. However, it appears Lupita Nyong’o already introduced herself to several fans on the convention floor at San Diego Comic-Con while dressed as the pink Power Ranger.

Nyong’o revealed her undercover adventures in two videos posted to her official Instagram account, where she can be seen taking photos with fans and dancing on the convention floor.

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke,  Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kan.

Black Panther will be released in theaters on February 16, 2018.

Ranking The Biggest Comic-Con 2017 Movie Trailers, Worst To…

This past weekend, legions upon legions of fans descended upon San Diego for Comic-Con. What started way back in 1970 by fans of reading and collecting comics has now become an international celebration of pretty much everything under the sun and a pop culture phenomenon.

It’s also the chance for many major films and television shows to have their cast meet the fans and showcase what’s to come in the near future from their products. This year was no different as we got to see a wide range of trailers for upcoming movies, among other things. Many of these trailers were hits with fans and continue to generate excitement, but some were better than others.
