A new television spot for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever shows Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart in action.

With Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hitting theaters later this week, Marvel is ramping up the marketing for its latest release. This television spot for Wakanda Forever is packed with never-before-seen footage from the movie, including a close-up look at Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams suited up as Ironheart. Following her appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dominique Thorne is set to reprise her role as Riri Williams for a six-episode Ironheart series on Disney Plus. The series, which is being developed by Snowpiercer writer Chinaka Hodge, is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has made $45 million through advanced ticket sales and is on track to earn between $355 million to $365 million at the worldwide box office this weekend. The movie recieved positive reviews from critics and is sitting at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The storyline of the Black Panther sequel

Disney’s official synopsis for the film reads as follows: “In Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.”

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole, Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett.
