A new clip from Marvel Studios’ Black Widow shows off Red Guardian’s super-soldier powers.

Scarlett Johansson’s long-awaited solo Black Widow film is set to hit theatres and Disney Plus via Premiere Access this Friday. Originally set to release last year, the film was delayed numerous times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With theatres opening up around the world, Black Widow is set to make an explosive debut, proving that theatres aren’t a form of entertainment from the past. To promote the film, Marvel has released a lengthy new clip that shows off David Harbour’s Red Guardian.

The film is set to explore Natasha’s relationship with her surrogate family, which includes David Harbour’s Red Guardian, Florence Pugh’s Yelena, and Rachel Weisz’s Melina – with both women being Black Widows. The new clip from the film shows the super-soldiered up Red Guardian, who acts as a counterpart to Captain America, breaking out of prison. The Red Guardian is seen evading guards and bullets, showing off his strength and ability to leap tall structures, making him a viable foe for Chris Evans’ Captain America.
