David Harbour revealed he is done filming Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.

Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow has been filming overseas since May, but that didn’t stop Marvel Studios from showing the first footage at San Diego Comic-Con. The Black Widow footage showed a lot of action with Scarlett Johansson, but a notable absence was David Harbour sporting the Red Guardian costume. Fans who weren’t lucky enough to see David Harbour’s Red Guardian suit in the footage shown at D23, saw it on a Black Widow D23 poster that was released.

David Harbour has now officially finished filming on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow solo film and issued a heartfelt goodbye to Red Guardian in a recent Instagram post:

Full plot details on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow are being kept under lock and key, though it has been revealed that the film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and will see Scarlett Johansson’s Nathasha Romanoff take on the villainous Taskmaster. The film will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Yelena Belova, the second modern-era character to use the Black Widow title in the comics.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.

Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1, 2020.
