During an interview with Good Morning America, Scarlett Johansson commented on the possibility of seeing Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye in Marvel Studios’ Black Widow.
Since Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow made her debut in Iron Man 2, many fans have been calling on Marvel Studios’ to produce a solo film featuring Natasha Romanoff. Next year, those wishes will be granted with a new film centered on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow set before her sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame.
Of course, with the film expected to explore Black Widow’s past to some extent, fans are curious to see if Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye will have a role in the project considering both characters have a long-lasting friendship. However, Scarlett Johansson played coy when asked about a possible Jeremy Renner appearance in Black Widow:
“That’s when you see the tranq gun come out. My lips are sealed. You got to wait and see.”

However, new concept illustrations reveal alternate designs for Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio suit were considered, some of which are notably different from the comic book outfit with entirely different color schemes.
