‘Bloodshot’: Vin Diesel Explains The Valiant Comics Hero In New Video

Bloodshot star Vin Diesel offered newcomers some insight into the Valiant Comics hero in a new promotional video.

On Friday, Sony hopes to launch a cinematic universe of Valiant Comics characters with the release of Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot. While comic book readers may be familiar with the Bloodshot comics, he could be considered a relatively unknown character to the general public.

Now, ComicBook.com has released a new promotional video in which Vin Diesel shares details on the Valiant Comics hero for those who may be unfamiliar with the source material. The video features interviews with Diesel and co-star Guy Pearce in which they detail Bloodshot’s powers and explain why the military wants to weaponize him, with the lead star noting:

“Bloodshot’s a solider at his core. He is the military’s favorite superhero.”

Here is the official synopsis for Bloodshot.

Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. Bloodshot will be released in theaters on March 13, 2020.
