Brandon Routh’s Superman & Ray Palmer Will Meet In ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’

Brandon Routh Superman Kingdom Come Crisis On Infinite Earths Ray Palmer

Arrowverse producer Marc Guggenheim revealed Brandon Routh’s Superman and Ray Palmer in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Years of portraying the Man of Steel in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, Brandon Routh landed the role of Ray Palmer in the Arrowverse series titled DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Although Brandon Routh’s time as a series regular on Legends of Tomorrow is coming to an end, Ray Palmer will still be on hand for the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.

Of course, with Brandon Routh also portraying Kingdom Superman in Crisis on Infinite Earths, fans have been a wonder if both of the actor’s characters will cross paths in the five-part event. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Crisis on Infinite Earths producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that the creative team did not pass on the chance to have Brandon Routh play Superman and Ray Palmer in the same scene:

“It’s fun because [Routh] gets to not only play Superman but also Clark Kent, and watching him inhabit those two roles. I say two roles because he plays them obviously very differently from one another. We also had the opportunity to see Brandon act opposite himself, because Ray Palmer is in the crossover as well. We certainly wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity for Superman played by Brandon Routh to interact with Ray Palmer played by Brandon Routh.”
