Some new concept art for Brie Larson’s appearance as Captain Marvel in the mid-credits scene of her first standalone film showcases the appearance she has during the Avengers: Infinity War fallout, and in the prologue to Avengers: Endgame.
Between the events of Captain Marvel and the first few scenes of Avengers: Endgame, Brie Larson’s Infinity Stone-powered and Kree blood recipient does not physically age, but she does have a slight change in her wardrobe and hairstyle. Captain Marvel’s shoulder pads go from red to gold, and her hair is slightly longer, but other than that, not much is different about Brie Larson’s super-soldier after 23 years in-universe. And it looks like not a whole lot changed from the concept art page to the actual film, as the concept art using Brie Larson’s likeness is pretty much identical to what was actually designed.
Take a look at Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel below:
While this look wasn’t utilized much in Avengers: Endgame due to the time-skip, which gave Brie Larson’s superhero a shorter haircut and inverted colors, it did subtly hint that she’s the same sort of character that she was in Captain Marvel.
Brie Larson was last seen as Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for the latest news on Brie Larson and her future as Captain Marvel!
