Brie Larson Shares New Photos From First Camera Test In Captain Marvel Suit

Avengers Endgame Captain Marvel 2 Brie Larson Nia DaCosta

Brie Larson shared two photos taken during her first camera test in full costume as Captain Marvel.

While Brie Larson made her first appearance as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, she first began her work portraying the character in Avengers: Endgame, which was filmed before the heroine’s standalone film started production. Now, Brie Larson has taken to her official Instagram account to share two photos taken during her first costume test in full costume.

Because the location in the background appears to be the set for the planet Vormir and the outfit is the one Brie Larson wore for Avengers: Endgame, it would seem these photos were taken during production on the Infinity War sequel. In the caption included with the photos, Brie Larson explained that these photos were taken she was still trying to figure out the character’s moves and how to movie in the leather outfit.

Brie Larson will reprise her role as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel sequel. Full details on the film are currently unknown, though the recently unveiled Phase 4 line-up did not include Captain Marvel 2, indicating the film is part of the Phase 5 slate. In the meantime, fans can re-watch Brie Larson first appearance as Carol Danvers in the first Captain Marvel:

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
