Academy Award winner Brie Larson has finally revealed the identity of her character in Universal’s Fast X. In an interview with Total Film magazine, Larson confirmed that she will be playing the role of Tess, the daughter of Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody.

The reveal comes alongside a new image from Fast X, which shows Brie Larson alongside franchise veteran Vin Diesel. Tess is said to be a “bridge” character, standing with the Toretto family while also technically working for the Agency.

According to Brie Larson, Tess doesn’t agree with the way the Agency is currently operating, and instead believes in the legacy set up by her father. As a result, she is willing to fight for the Toretto family and their values, even if it means going against her employer.

Despite her allegiance to the Toretto family, Tess still has to prove her worth to them. In the interview, Larson mentioned that her character is given a challenging task by Diesel’s character, Dom. If Tess can complete it successfully, she will earn a place in the family for life.

The Fast and Furious franchise has always been known for its incredible car chases and high-speed action sequences, and Fast X is expected to be no different. The movie is set to bring back many of the franchise’s most beloved characters and is also expected to introduce several newcomers, who will help to bring a fresh and exciting new dynamic.
