Avengers star Brie Larson recently took to Twitter to share her reaction to a drawing of herself as Captain Marvel alongside Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman was the first successful female superhero film, which has now paved the path for others to be made. After Gal Gadot’s first cinematic solo outing as Wonder Woman debuted in theaters in 2017, Marvel Studios also released its first female-led superhero film with Captain Marvel. We also recently got Birds of Prey and we can look forward to Black Widow next with plenty of other female-led projects on the horizon.

At this year’s Academy Awards, Brie Larson and Gal Gadot presented an Oscar with Sigourney Weaver. The two superhero stars later took selfies with each other that the internet loved. This has sparked fans to do things like create artwork that features Captain Marvel alongside Wonder Woman.
