When you’re Carol Danvers and hailed as the strongest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, chances are that the world may literally be on your shoulders. That may indeed be the case when Captain Marvel hits theaters and Brie Larson makes her MCU debut, but in the meantime, how does Larson prepare for the role?

Pushing a 5000 lb Jeep, that’s how. Yesterday, Larson shared a video on her Instagram page: a training highlight when she had to prepare for the role of Carol Danvers. In the video, we see Brie Larson pushing a Jeep with a full tank of gas- and someone actually behind the wheel for safety reasons- while someone off-screen, presumably her trainer, encourages her. Here, have a look at the Captain Marvel star giving it her all in the video below:

Indeed, when you may be the savior that the rest of Earth’s heroes need in Avengers: Endgame, you need to make sure that you can push a Jeep. Given what Brie Larson managed to accomplish here, it seem the Captain Marvel star will have the strength to back up her reputation. But then again, Vision was able to lift up Mjolnir in Avengers: Age of Ultron, so maybe that should be the true test for Carol…if Thor actually had it anymore instead of Stormbringer.

Anyway, what do you think of Brie Larson sharing this glimpse into her training for Captain Marvel? What else would you want to see Carol move in real life? Let us know in the comments below.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

The film will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
