‘Bright’ Featurette Explores Relationship Between Ward & Jakoby

Comic-Con BrightNetflix is mostly known for their hit exclusive series such as their Marvel shows and Stranger Things, but they have also released some really remarkable films of their own. Netflix intends to take another leap in terms of their original films with David Ayer’s upcoming new film, Bright. 

Bright reunites Ayer with his Suicide Squad star Will Smith and looks to be Netflix’s big jump into blockbuster-style films. It looks to be a gritty cop film mixed with fantasy elements with the true David Ayer-touch.

Netflix has released a brand new featurette for the film, exploring the dynamic between Will Smith’s character Ward and Joel Edgerton’s character Jakoby. You can check out the brand new featurette down below:

The film stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Edgar Ramirez, Ike Barinholtz, Brad William Henke, Lucy Fry, Chris Browning, and Kenneth Choi. Here’s the official synopsis:

Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.
