A fourth installment of the Captain America franchise is in the works with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Executive Producer Malcolm Spellman.
After todayโs series finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, fans are probably wondering whatโs next for our new Captain America. Many fans believed the series would get a second season with Anthony Mackieโs Sam Wilson fully into his new role. Now, we know for sure whatโs happening next with the star-spangled man with a plan.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Executive Producer Malcolm Spellman is set to pen the script for the fourth installment of the Captain America franchise. Dalan Musson will co-write the script with Spellman. No director is currently attached, but the film is expected to continue the story of Sam Wilson as Captain America.

Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, the series stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brรผhl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent. Actors Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly have also been cast.
