Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development & Concept Artist Andy Park unveiled Captain America: Civil War art featuring The Wasp.
Captain America: Civil War featured nearly every hero in the Marvel Universe who had been introduced at that point and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne was set to make her debut as The Wasp in the film at one point. However, it was eventually decided to save the character’s introduction for the Ant-Man sequel, but new Civil War concept art offers fans a glimpse of what the acclaimed airport fight scene would have looked like had The Wasp joined the fray.
You can check out the concept illustration in the post below!
Some of you may know I did a whole bunch of keyframe illustrations based on an early script draft of Civil War. Wasp was at one point going to make her debut in this movie. It was fun but I’m glad they held out to properly introduce her in #AntManandtheWasp @EvangelineLilly pic.twitter.com/NZjoO3W75W
