New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Promo Art Focuses On Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel Avengers Endgame

Captain Marvel hasn’t had her big screen debut yet, but new promotional art for Avengers: Endgame shows that she’s already suited up and ready for the fight with Thanos. And actress Brie Larson has certainly not pulled any punches for how Carol would deal with Thanos, as she’s indicated in the past. While we haven’t seen Carol share the screen with Tony, Cap, or any of Earth’s remaining heroes, the artwork puts her squarely right in line with the rest of the Avengers.

The promotional art for Avengers: Endgame shows us the heroes who were spared from the Thanos snap in Avengers: Infinity War. So while we see Hulk, Nebula, Thor, and Ant-Man, among others, there are two images of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, with one in the same style and fashion as the other characters. The other image of Carol superimposes the main Avengers logo over an image of Captain Marvel herself. Here, have a look for yourself in the Avengers: Endgame promo art below:

Since Nick Fury was able to send off the distress signal to Carol before getting dusted in Avengers: Infinity War, it remains to be seen how Carol will eventually answer the call. While the Captain Marvel film may not include any other MCU heroes, this promotional art for Avengers: Endgame comfortably fits her with Earth’s remaining forces. Between Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel, though, how do you feel that Carol will fair in the battle against Thanos? More than that, how big of a role do you want to see her play in the next Avengers film?

Let us know your thoughts and more in the comments below. Here’s the synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

“Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.”

Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8, 2019. Avengers: Endgame will arrive shortly thereafter on April 26, 2019.
