Brie Larson, the Academy Award-winning actress who is set to play Carol Danvers in both Captain Marvel and the untitled fourth Avengers film next year celebrated Halloween dressed up as Zero Suit Samus – made famous from the beloved Metroid video game series.

Larson shared a photo of her celebrating her Halloween festivities alongside her friend, who was dressed up like Harry Potter. You can check out Larson’s costume as Samus from Metroid down below:

Simon Hernandez-Arthur responded to Larson’s Metroid costume, lamenting that this would be the closest we’ll ever get to see a live-action Metroid film. But alas, Larson has some hope not just in that movie ever getting made, but that she would be involved in some form or another:

Larson has had involvement in action films in the past before stepping into the role as Captain Marvel, so the idea of seeing her play Samus Aran in a Metroid film would not be too much of a stretch. But for now, fans still have her portrayal of Captain Marvel to look forward to in the near future.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
