‘Captain Marvel’ Clip Debuts At Comic-Con Experience In Brazil

The clip features Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), aka Captain Marvel, escaping a tricky situation and battling some Skrulls.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters at the end of April but fans don’t have to wait until then for a new installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Captain Marvel premieres in the U.S. on March 8th and it will set up the titular hero’s appearance in Endgame, which was teased in the post-credits scene featured in Avengers: Infinity War.

Collider‘s Steven “Frosty” Weintraub recently reported from the Comic-Con Experience currently underway in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the event, Brie Larson appeared on stage and showed fans a Captain Marvel clip with the titular hero battling some Skrull enemies. Check out the Tweet below to see the full details on the clip.

The shape-shifting iconic Marvel enemies the Skrulls will be taking center stage in Captain Marvel, as seen in both trailers. The main foe of the film will be played by Ben Mendelsohn, who recently played villains in films such as Robin Hood, Ready Player One, Rogue One: a Star Wars Story, and even briefly in The Dark Knight Rises. Given the description of the clip above, it seems like the film will have some creative, lower-scale action set pieces that haven’t yet been shown in the trailer. However, there is a moment in the first trailer that could possibly be Carol mid-probe.
