While we don’t know just when to expect the multi-series crossover to happen, we do know that The Defenders is coming. With Matt Murdock having to team up with other characters in the upcoming second season of Daredevil, with these new characters popping up, could this be the start of what helps Matt Murdock prepare for the series? While speaking with EW, series star Charlie Cox commented on the subject.
I think quite possibly, but I don’t think he has any knowledge of that. I don’t think that he could even fathom that that is a possibility.
Something that’s very tricky for Matt is to allow anyone to help him. He finds it impossible to ask for help. One of the lessons that he’s going to have to learn this season is that he needs other people, he needs help, we all need help.
Now when it comes to just where Matt Murdock asks for help from, we’re only a few days from finding out when the series debuts on Friday. Let us know your thoughts on Cox’s comments in the section below.
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Daredevil Season Two will be available to stream on Netflix starting on March 18, 2016.
