King Arthur: Legend of the Sword actor Charlie Hunnam puts on the classic Green Arrow costume for the DC Extended Universe in an awesome concept that pictures the future of the franchise.
Since 2013’s Man of Steel, Warner Bros. has expanded its live-action DC Universe by giving fans Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam! and more. Warner Bros. is developing other DC Comics films based on characters awaiting their cinematic debuts such as New Gods and Black Adam. The studio could look to Green Arrow next, as he has had a successful television run since 2012. With Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow series finally ending on The CW, many fans are praying that this paves the way for the Emerald Archer to make the jump onto the silver screen. Charlie Hunnam has yet to appear in a superhero film, but many believe he is the right man to play the next Green Arrow.
Charlie Hunnam has starred in big-budget films like Pacific Rim and King Authur: Legend of the Sword, but he has yet to commit to a franchise. If the folks at Warner Bros. were to develop a Green Arrow film, Charlie Hunnam might be the perfect fit for the role of Oliver Queen. This concept from Instagram artist “The Main Man Creation” proves why, as Charlie Hunnam dons the classic Green Arrow costume for the DC Extended Universe.
