New artwork imagines King Arthur: Legend of the Sword star Charlie Hunnam as the Green Arrow for the DCEU franchise.
With Stephen Amell’s run as Green Arrow on the small screen likely wrapping up soon, there’s potentially room for the character of Oliver Queen to make a silver screen debut in the DCEU somewhere down the road. Charlie Hunnam has consistently been a popular fan cast for Green Arrow due to his close resemblance to Oliver Queen as he appears in the comic books, so it’s unsurprising to see that he’s also the subject of a lot of fan art for the hypothetical casting.
Digital artist “Ryan’s Reviews” has taken a crack at photoshopping what Charlie Hunnam would look like as Green Arrow, sharing a concept design of the actor on Instagram. You can check out the DCEU artwork with Charlie Hunnam below:

As it stands, Green Arrow is not immediately planned to show up in the DCEU, although Charlie Hunnam has expressed interest in the prospect of taking up a DCEU role in general. However, a character closely associated with Green Arrow, Black Canary, will appear in Birds of Prey, the next DCEU film. Meanwhile on The CW, Stephen Amell is expected to wrap up his take on Green Arrow with the final season of Arrow and the related Crisis crossover episodes.
