Toy artist Jerry Wilson recently took to his Instagram to share a new promotional image of Chris Evans’ Captain America, giving us our best look at the character’s new suit in Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame was the epic conclusion to a ten-year long story that has truly changed the world. As we said goodbye to many characters, we got to see them take on their most comic-accurate forms before they we gone. One character fans sadly had to say goodbye to was Chris Evans’ Captain America.
Chris Evans has embodied the role of Captain America since his first appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger all the way back in 2011. Captain America has been a staple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the favorite character of many fans. Fans were, however, treated to a number of great Cap moments throughout the film.
One moment fans were ecstatic for was the debut of Captain America’s iconic chainmail armor from the comics. While the film is still in theaters, it is still hard to get a good image of Chris Evans’ new suit from Avengers: Endgame. However, Wilson has now shared a very detailed promo image that offers fans their best look yet at the suit. You can check out the image below.
The image is for the upcoming Marvel Legends Avengers: Endgame Captain America action figure that will be released soon. The image provided is based on the concept art that was used in making the costume for the final film. It is unknown if we will ever see the suit again considering the Chris Evans incarnation of the character is effectively retired.
However, we could see a similar suit become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the upcoming Disney+ Falcon and Winter Soldier show now that the mantle and shield have been passed on to Sam Wilson. What did you think of the new suit in Avengers: Endgame? Do you think Chris Evans will ever return to the role? Let us know in the comments down below!
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers:Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Veteran X-Men producer Simon Kinberg makes his directorial debut with Dark Phoenix in addition to producing the film with Hutch Parker, Lauren Schuler Donner and Todd Hallowell. Dark Phoenix is expected to be Fox's final X-Men film featuring the core X-Men cast in the cinematic universe launched by director Bryan Singer in 2000 with the Disney-Fox merger now complete.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain. Here's the film's synopsis:
“This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic DARK PHOENIX. During a life-threatening rescue mission in space, Jean is hit by a cosmic force that transforms her into one of the most powerful mutants of all. Wrestling with this increasingly unstable power as well as her own personal demons, Jean spirals out of control, tearing the X-Men family apart and threatening to destroy the very fabric of our planet. The film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It is the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies, as the family of mutants that we’ve come to know and love must face their most devastating enemy yet — one of their own.”
Dark Phoenix is set to hit theaters on June 7, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the X-Men.
