‘Avengers’ Star Chris Hemsworth Replaces Tom Hiddleston As Loki In Cool Artwork

Thor Loki Chris Hemsworth Tom Hiddleston Loki Avengers

Avengers star Chris Hemsworth trades places with his Asgardian brother as he replaces Tom Hiddleston as Loki in new artwork.

Ever since Avengers: Endgame cemented the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been wondering when we’ll be seeing Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston together again. Unfortunately, nothing has been announced regarding Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki meeting in a future Marvel Studios project, despite both of them getting solo outings after Avengers: Endgame. One of the most beloved duos in the MCU, Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth have brought book unique takes to the characters of Loki and Thor, respectively.

Despite both of their Avengers characters being so iconic and unique to their respective actors, have you wondered what would happened if they traded places? This cool concept design by digital artist Jakub Maslowski showcases what Avengers star Chris Hemsworth could look like if he were to replace Tom Hiddleston as Loki. You can see Chris Hemsworth as Loki below.

In this unique concept design, Avengers star Chris Hemsworth retains his red iconography while leaning into the larger visual framework that makes Loki so unique. Chris Hemsworth is also carrying the staff that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki possessed in The Avengers. An interesting choice made in this artwork was to have Chris Hemsworth rock the his Avengers hairstyle as opposed to his Thor: Ragnarok cut.

It’s certainly an interesting and thought-provoking design that has us thinking what could have happened. In reality, it’s hard to imagine that we’d see Chris Hemsworth’s good-natured Thor pivot to Tom Hiddleston’s mischievous nature. Being an interesting idea, perhaps this narrative switch could be further explored in Marvel’s What If…? series. As for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, we can expect to see the fan-favorite character make his debut on the small screen with a Disney Plus series, which is set to premiere sometime next year. Avengers star Chris Hemsworth’s next cinematic outing as the God of Thunder will be in Thor: Love and Thunder.

What are your thoughts on this fan art that sees Avengers star Chris Hemsworth taking on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki role? Sound-off in the comments!
