A brand new still from Jurassic World: Dominion shows Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady being chased by a new dinosaur.

Jurassic World: Dominion is set to hit cinemas later next year, finally introducing dinosaurs to the real world. No longer are the creatures held behind cages and fences, where they are gawked at. Now, they roam the Earth freely, forcing us pesky humans to live alongside them, not necessarily harmoniously. The upcoming Jurassic World threequel sees director Colin Trevorrow returning as well, making it a fitting finale to the rebooted franchise.

Speaking with Empire Online, director Colin Trevorrow opened up about the film when debuting a new look at the film, which sees Chris Pratt’s hero getting chased by a new raptor on a motorcycle.

“It’s a sequence set in Malta. And the picture speaks for itself – it’s Chris Pratt being chased by an Atrociraptor. And if they catch up, he’s gonna die, I can tell you that.”

The Jurassic World: Dominion director continued by expanding on the new raptor’s abilities.

“Where the Velociraptor is a little bit more of a stealth hunter, the Atrociraptors are a bit more brutish. These things will just come at you. And in this particular case, they’ve picked his scent, and they’re not going to stop until he’s dead. They’re pretty brutal. They’re pretty vicious.”

Here is the synopsis for the last film in the franchise, Fallen Kingdom:

Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that’s about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is available to own on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD, while Dominion will hit theaters on June 10, 2022.
