Chris Pratt is on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for his return as Star-Lord.

Filming is now underway on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with the first video from the set of the Marvel Studios production featuring Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord. While promoting an upcoming Parks and Recreation podcast, Pratt sent a video message to Conan O’Brien and Team Coco from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, showing off his Star-Lord look.

You can check out the video with Chris Pratt below.

In the video, Chris Pratt explains that he’s on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and that the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios project is now shooting. Pratt can be seen with a moustache and mutton chops, two of the signature traits of Star-Lord’s Marvel Cinematic Universe look.

“What’s up everybody, Chris Pratt here! I’m on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – this is day one! That’s why these sick-ass mutton chops are back. Pretty sweet…”

Earlier this month, Will Poulter joined the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as Adam Warlock, a character that was teased in one of the post-credits scenes of the film’s predecessor. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Adam Warlock made his debut in the pages of 1967’s Fantastic Four #66-67 and is generally considered to be one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe.

In addition to Chris Pratt and Will Poulter, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is also expected to star Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Sean Gunn. The film’s core cast members were last seen in Avengers: Endgame.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently set to hit theaters on May 5, 2023. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
