According to a new report, a prologue for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is coming soon to IMAX theaters.
Christopher Nolan is well-known for releasing IMAX prologues for his upcoming films in theaters. He has done so in the past for The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. For Dunkirk, there was an IMAX preview, but it showed a few scenes from the film’s first act. Trailer Track is now reporting that Christopher Nolan’s next film, Tenet, will also be getting the IMAX prologue treatment.
The first look at Christopher Nolan’s Tenet started playing in-front of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw IMAX screenings back in August, however that footage was never released officially online by Warner Bros. Trailer Track speculates that a proper trailer for Tenet could also be on the way, with the IMAX prologue most likely playing in front of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker next month.

Full plot details on Tenet are currently under wraps, though Warner Bros. officially describes the film as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.” Production on Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is currently underway, with filming set to take place across seven countries.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Himesh Patel. Christopher Nolan also serves as a producer alongside his wife Emma Thomas, with Thomas Hayslip on board as an executive producer.
Tenet is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 17, 2020.
