Robert Downey Jr. On Why You Should Be ‘Team Stark’ For ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Captain America: Civil War is only two months away and both sides of the aisle are trying to convince fans to join their teams, Tony Stark for Team Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers for Team Cap.

Tony Stark believes that after everything that has happened with the Avengers, it’s time for some strong oversight. This view is completely different from fellow Avenger Captain America. Downey of Stark explained why he had such a strong change of heart.

“People are much less capable of processing things than they think and we’re kind of simple and dumb. And for a guy who is fast, he’s definitely on the verge of practically getting over himself. I almost feel like sometimes he’s some (old man) who goes back to the neighborhood and goes, ‘Kids, it doesn’t have to be like this.’”

Members of Team Iron Man echoed the thoughts of Stark. James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) has had a strong alliance to Stark but understands that sometimes you have to toe the line between being a solider and an Avenger.

“Obviously, I can’t do anything that violates my oath but at the same time we’re dealing with things that haven’t ever been in the playbook.”
Along with Rhodes, Vision (Paul Bettany) is also aligned with Stark.
“The stronger you are, the more you invite challenge. Something has to rise to fill the vacuum.”
With these new insights being announced, does this make you more Team Iron Man or do you remain on Team Captain America?  Comment below and cast your vote!
