With Avengers: Infinity War finally out in theaters, The Late Show host Stephen Colbert revealed his plan to avoid any spoilers for the film: by disseminating his own false spoilers to the internet.
Doubling down on Marvel’s campaign to prevent Avengers: Infinity War spoilers to be divulged to fans that have not seen the movie yet, Colbert exclaims that he “[doesn’t] want any of you nerds spoiling my nerding,” before beginning to reveal his fake spoilers. Included in Colbert’s list are “Iron Man ties trying to get a bagel out of the toaster with a fork,” and “The Hulk is put out of commission when Bruce Banner discovers Paxil”.
Despite the campaign to prevent spoilers from being shared, fans have taken to Twitter to post spoilers without context.
