Could Gwyneth Paltrow Come Back For More Marvel Movies?

Gwyneth Paltrow has been absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite some time now. Playing Pepper Pots, who made her initial appearance in the first Iron Man opposite Robert Downey Jr, the actress’ last appearance was in Iron Man 3. This was back in 2013.

In a recent interview, Paltrow admitted, in a strange, roundabout way, that she is still apparently supposed to appear in another Marvel film. As to which film she’s scheduled to appear in, however, she isn’t quite sure. She sounded pretty confused about the whole thing.

Below is the excerpt from her interview with ET:

In addition to speaking openly about the men in her life, Paltrow also admits that she’s sort of over acting. “I don’t think I like it anymore,” the Oscar winner confides, adding that she’s not even sure what Marvel movies she’s contracted to appear in as her Pepper Potts character. “I think it’s Avengers or Captain America, one of those,” she quips.

Paltrow doesn’t seem to really care about acting anymore, so of course she doesn’t even seem to realize that the last Captain America movie has been out for a while now. There isn’t another one that Disney and Marvel plan to make anytime soon, either. So does that mean the actress is contracted to appear in the next Avengers film, Avengers: Infinity War? It would make sense for her to appear there, even though her role will probably be minor.

In Captain America: Civil War, it was revealed that Pepper Potts and Tony Stark had broken up with each other. If Pepper appears in Infinity War, will she and Stark be getting back together? How big will her role be, if she’ll even appear at all?

What are your thoughts on Paltrow’s comments? Do you think she’s slated to actually appear in another Marvel film soon? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
