‘Creed III’: First Posters Feature Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors

The first official posters for Creed III put the spotlight on Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors.

This morning, Michael B. Jordan took to his social media pages to unveil a pair of posters for Creed III, which arrives in theaters next Spring. A trailer for the highly-anticipated movie — the first entry in the Rocky Balboa universe without Sylvester Stallone — is expected to make its debut soon.

Adonis Creed vs Anderson Dame

The Creed III posters feature Michael B. Jordan as the franchise’s lead character Adonis Creed and Jonathan Majors as newcomer Anderson Dame. While plot details for Creed III are being kept under wraps, Dame is expected to be the film’s primary antagonist. Check out the posters below.

Creed III marks the directorial debut of Michael B. Jordan, with the actor following in the footsteps of Steven Caple Jr. and Ryan Coogler. The film’s screenplay was written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin.

In addition to Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors, Creed III includes Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor, Phylicia Rashad as Mary Anne Creed, Wood Harris as Tony “Little Duke” Evers and Florian Munteanu as Viktor Drago. Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II, Mila Davis-Kent, and Canelo Álvarez are also on board in undisclosed roles.

Besides Creed III, MGM is currently developing a Creed spin-off film focusing on Viktor Drago, son of Ivan, the villain of 1985’s Rocky IV and Creed II. Robert Lawton is writing the screenplay, thanks to his work a spec script about the making of the first Rocky film.
