A brand new behind-the-scenes photo from the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover shows Brandon Routh with the Kingdom Come Superman suit.
One of the Arrowverse’s most dynamic and largest crossovers was Crisis On Infinite Earths, which gave us tons of new characters and stories to love, including Brandon Routh reprising his role as Superman. In the crossover event, Brandon Routh played the tortured and complex Kingdom Come Superman, which we had never before seen in live-action. It was a genuine treat to see Brandon Routh reprise the role he briefly got to play in 2006’s Superman Returns, but now that Crisis On Infinite Earths is over, it’s hard to imagine the star will be donning the suit once again.
With a brand new behind-the-scenes photo, we get to see Brandon Routh rock the Kingdom Come Superman suit for the crossover and look as heroic as ever whilst doing so. You can check it out below.

In these crazy crazy times there’s one thing I want you to remember – “It’s not about where you were born, what powers you have or what you wear on your chest. It’s about what you DO… it’s about action.” Be safe y’all. Australia about to go into lockdown too. Love y’all. Stay safe. Believe in hope. #KryptonStrong @brandonjrouth
Brandon Routh’s appearance as the Kingdom Come Superman, although brief, was met with considerable acclaim. In addition to playing Kingdom Come Superman in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Brandon Routh also continued his role of Ray Palmer from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for the crossover. Since then, Brandon Routh has gracefully exited from the Arrowverse, getting the chance to once again play Superman, even if it was for a brief period of time.
