The third episode of Crisis on Infinite Earths introduced The Spectre to the Arrowverse, with Arrow star Stephen Amell portraying this new version of the DC character.
The third chapter of Crisis on Infinite Earths introduced Jim Corrigan, a.k.a. The Spectre, to the Arrowverse, when a few heroes followed John Constantine to “Purgatory” in hopes of bringing back Oliver Queen’s soul. However, this version of Jim Corrigan seemingly passes on the Spectre mantle and power to Oliver Queen, confirming Heroic Hollywood’s report from October.
As Corrigan explains, it is Oliver Queen’s destiny to become the Spectre in order to save the multiverse from the Anti-Monitor. Unfortunately, taking on the power of The Spectre forces Oliver Queen to stay behind and bid farewells to John Diggle and Mia.
