During an interview with Hollywood Life, The Flash star Hartley Sawyer offered fans a hint at the scale of the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Last fall’s Elseworlds crossover concluded with the promise that the next event in the Arrowverse would be an adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths, a comic book storyline that followed several DC heroes as they attempted to thwart the Anti-Monitor’s efforts the destroy Earths within the Multiverse. Considering the scale and number of heroes involved in Crisis on Infinite Earths, fans are curious to see if the next Arrowverse crossover can match the scope of the source material.
With the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover still in the early stages of planning, The Flash star Hartley Sawyer could not divulge information on the anticipated event. However, he did tease fans that the event would be the biggest Arrowverse crossover to date:
“I know pretty much as the fans know because they’re sorting all of that stuff out right now. My understanding of it is that this one that’s coming up next year is I believe going to be the crossover to end all crossovers. It’s my understanding this is going to be the biggest crossover that we’ve ever done. There’s going to be a lot going on.”
Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover will consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. It is currently set to two quarters, presumably as the mid-season finale and premiere episodes for the Arrowverse shows.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny / Elongated Man
The Flash airs on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
