Benedict Cumberbatch Comments On The Possibility Of A ‘Sherlock’ Reunion In The MCU

Later this year we’ll see Benedict Cumberbatch join his Sherlock co-star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when Doctor Strange hits theaters in November. But could we end up seeing a Sherlock reunion take place somewhere down the line? While speaking with at San Diego Comic-Con, Cumberbatch commented on the possibility of Stephen Strange meeting up with Everett Ross at some point.

“Oh, that’s a good question. I don’t know that could be possible I guess. I mean you know, the Venn diagram of the Marvel Universe brings people together from all sorts of places.Who knows, who knows…I don’t, so that’s my get out is ignorance.”

While it’s beyond unlikely that we’ll be seeing Freeman’s Everett Ross making an appearance in Doctor Strange, I’d say there’s a good chance we could see the two characters cross paths in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Are you hoping to see the two meet up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.
