Cyborg Will Be In ‘The Flash’ Movie

Ray Fisher’s Cyborg will appear in The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller, reports Variety. This confirmation comes off the back of heavy rumours of a team-up between the two heroes being on the cards. The rumour was based upon reports that DC was trying to inject much more humour and fun into their movies after criticisms of the tone of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While the extent of Cyborg’s role in the Ezra Miller led film remains unknown, the rumours went as far as to suggest the movie would be a buddy cop-esque style film. The news seems to confirm that DC’s Extended Universe will be very interconnected, something suggested by Suicide Squad (character appearances and story beats alike).

While we’ll be seeing Fisher and Miller team up in 2018, you can next see them portray their DC superheroes alongside Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa in next year’s Justice League. Meanwhile, The Flash, starring Miller, will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa with shooting expected to begin this year in London. Cyborg, starring Fisher, is set for release in 2020.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
