It seems that we are not done with Rey’s family as Daisy Ridley has said that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will further explore her character’s family.
One of the big criticisms of Star Wars: The Last Jedi was Rey’s parentage. During the climax of Rian Johnson’s Star Wars film, it was revealed that Daisy Ridley’s character was the daughter to a pair of junk dealers who sold her for drinking money. During a recent interview with USA Today, Daisy Ridley revealed that there might be more to her family that will be answered in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker:
“(Director J.J. Abrams) did say the question is answered. So at the end of the film, you do know what the dealio is.”
