Daisy Ridley states that one Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker scene left the crew shaken.
Speaking to Adoro Cinema, Daisy Ridley reflected on her time filming this December’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. While she couldn’t give anything about the trilogy-capper away, Daisy Ridley did note that the final day of shooting in Jordan was intensely emotional for the cast and crew that were there.
Here’s exactly what Daisy Ridley had to say about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker below:
“It was our last day shooting in Jordan and the natural light was fading. And it was so exciting. It was just a short scene, we filmed very fast, but the crew was shaken in a way I had not seen before. And I thought, ‘My God, if this is people’s immediate reaction when the scene isn’t even ready, imagine what it will be like to see it in the movies, with the John Williams soundtrack and all that.'”
With the way that Daisy Ridley describes the scene, it appears as though this is something with significant plot relevance, and it could be a standout moment in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait to find out what Daisy Ridley is hinting at, as The Rise of Skywalker is now only a month and change away.
Directed by J. J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E.
