The Walking Dead will be losing yet another major member as Danai Gurira has confirms that she is leaving the show.
While attending this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Danai Gurira finally addressed the rumors regarding her future on The Walking Dead. At the convention, Danai Gurira stated that the upcoming season of The Walking Dead would be her last on the show:

While this is sad news, she did not rule out the possibility of appearing in the other spinoff shows or in the Rick Grimes spin-off films. Danai Gurira has of course been a major member of The Walking Dead cast since its third season so who knows what her fate on the show may entail. Hopefully, her end on the show won’t be too gory.
