Daniel Brühl Reveals First Look At Baron Zemo Mask In ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Series

Daniel Bruhl Baron Zemo Falcon and Winter Soldier Captain America Civil War

Daniel Bruhl has revealed the first look at his return as Baron Zemo in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Captain America: Civil War introduced Daniel Bruhl as the Marvel villain Baron Zemo, a former Colonel of the Sokovian Armed Forces who held the Avengers responsible for the death of his family during the Battle of Sokovia. Although Baron Zemo was left incarcerated for the crimes he committed while attempting to rip apart the Avengers from the inside, Daniel Bruhl will be reprising his role in the highly anticipated Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ series.

Daniel Bruhl surprised fans when he hijacked Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, this past weekend, appearing in footage from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series. The footage saw the actor reveal Baron Zemo would finally be getting his comic-accurate costume. Daniel Bruhl has now taken to Instagram himself to tease Baron Zemo’s return and reveal Baron Zemo’s purple mask from the comics.

Director Kari Skoglan will reportedly helm all six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from scripts penned by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad. The series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Daniel Brühl with a scheduled Fall 2020 release on the Disney+ streaming service. The Falcon and Winter Soldier were last seen in Avengers: Endgame.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers:Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be available on Digital HD starting July 30 followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on August 13.
