A new set photo from the highly-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again Disney Plus series has surfaced online, offering the first glimpse at the show’s take on the famous “DD” logo worn by the Man Without Fear.

Pretty interesting. Looks almost comic accurate but that shouldn’t be too hard because we are literally talking about fonts.

Meanwhile, according to somewhat reliable scooper CanWeGetSomeToast, production on the upcoming Disney+ show is halfway through its production schedule. 9 of the shows proposed 18 episodes are done and in the can, according to the show’s stunt coordinator Philip J. Silvera.

Apparently, the 18 episode show will be released in two 9-episode batches. The first 9 episode batch will reportedly tie up loose ends, while the second half will be a new story that could potentially toe into Spider-Man 4.

Daredevil and The Punisher Reunited

Additionally, in other Daredevil news, behind the scenes photos of Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher surfaced online which you see here. The show is currently being shot in Brooklyn, New York.

The Punisher is apparently going to have a huge role in the upcoming show. Other set photos have previously leaked the return of another major baddie: Bullseye!

Vanessa Marianna Fisk Returns

On Sunday, photos also surfaced of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin along with Ayelet Zurer who is reprising her role as Vanessa Marianna Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again. Check out the embed below for the shot of both in character.

Marvel Studios recently undertook a significant creative shift for Daredevil: Born Again. The change was driven by internal criticism of the show’s initial focus on the legal drama surrounding Matt Murdock, which delayed his appearance as Daredevil until the fourth episode. The revamped series is now expected to emphasize more action and violence, aligning it closer to the tone and style of the Netflix version of Daredevil.

Daredevil: Born Again currently has no release date for Disney Plus.
