A brand new Disney Plus TV spot welcomes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and more on what has been dubbed “The streaming home of Marvel”.
Well, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Defenders, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and Agents of SHIELD are finally on Disney Plus. Many believed this would be impossible considering the first six shows debuted on Netflix as co-productions with Marvel.
Despite that limitation, Disney Plus has managed to fold the shows onto its streaming service, alongside Agents of SHIELD, making it the definitive streaming service for all things Marvel. The shows, known for their mature content, will be locked behind parental controls – a first for Disney Plus in the United States.
Fans have been clamoring for years to see the Netflix/Marvel characters intermingle with the rest of the MCU. Audience members got the first taste of that wish late last year when Daredevil and his foe Kingpin made their formal Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye, respectively, paving the way for characters like Jessica Jones to pop up in future projects. It’s unclear what plans Marvel Studios has for its new roster of characters but one thing is certain: it’s time to celebrate.
Disney Plus has released a brand new TV spot welcoming the various Marvel/Netflix shows onto the streaming service, as well as the beloved Agents of SHIELD, which first premiered on ABC. The various shows are now available to stream on what is now the definitive streaming home of all things Marvel.
