The first set photos from the upcoming third season of the Marvel Netflix series Daredevil have hit the web, teasing the return of the villainous crime boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio).

D’Onofrio starred as Wilson Fisk in the first season of the series and returned for a smaller part in the second season which featured his character in prison but The Kingpin has since been absent from all of Netflix’s subsequent Marvel follow-ups including the first seasons of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the street level hero team-up The Defenders.

Daredevil season 3 is currently in production on location in New York City. Details on the plot remain unknown, though the conclusion of The Defenders suggested that the next season could adapt the “Born Again” comic book storyline.

The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Hart of Dixie star Wilson Bethel has also joined as a series regular for the third season.
