Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix opened to disappointing results over the summer both financially and critically. X-Men veteran producer Simon Kinberg attempted to retell the famous X-Men Dark Phoenix saga with Sophie Turner. Simon Kinberg was also involved in X-Men: The Last Stand, which was notably panned for adapting the Dark Phoenix storyline too. In Dark Phoenix, Sophie Turner played a younger version of Jean Grey in the 90s. New X-Men concept art from Marvel Studios’ David Masson reveals a different take on Sophie Turner’s final form.

This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic DARK PHOENIX.
