A brand new image shows off the best look yet at the Dark Side Rey’s double-ended lightsaber from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Fans went wild after the dramatic reveal of Daisy Ridley’s Rey wielding an impressive double-ended lightsaber in the second trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. But thanks to a new image that has surfaced online, Star Wars fans have been given a better look at what Dark Side Rey’s lightsaber looks like in the final chapter of the Skywalker saga. Most fans are assuming that the footage of Daisy Ridley’s Rey showing off the red lightsaber is a Force vision, showing what her journey would lead to if she embraced the Dark Side.

The new image surfaced on Reddit, and shows the details of the double-ended lightsaber Daisy Ridley’s Rey is wielding in the trailer. While the trailer showed the lightsaber swinging into the staff style function of the weapon, fans can see the hinged clip on the saber where the handles join together. It’s a harsher design than the slick elegance of Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber that Daisy Ridley’s Rey currently uses. Take a look at the image of Dark Side Rey’s lightsaber below.
