Dave Filoni shared a new sketch of Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker after the latest Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode debuted on Disney Plus.

The Siege of Mandalore got off to an incredible start with the first episode featuring some of the best moments in the entire run of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. One of the most heartbreaking moments in “Old Friends Not Forgotten” was the reunion between Anakin and Ahsoka. This reunion is seemingly the last between the two characters before Anakin becomes Darth Vader and their duel in Star Wars Rebels.

Dave Filoni is always sharing mysterious sketches of Ahsoka and the other Star Wars projects he is working on. This time around, Filoni decided to share a stunning sketch on Instagram of Anakin and Ahsoka, together for the last time. You can see The Clone Wars art below.

What did think of this week’s episode? Do you think the Siege of Mandalore will go down as the best arc in the entire series? Do you think Dave Filoni’s role at Lucasfilm should be expanded? Sound-off in the comments section below!

Here is the synopsis for the latest Clone Wars episode:

Ahsoka Tano reaches out to Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi seeking assistance to secure the capture of longtime adversary and former Sith Lord Maul, but the news of Grievous’ attack on Coruscant and Palpatine’s capture forces a difficult decision for the Jedi

Created by George Lucas, with Dave Filoni as executive producer/supervising director, The Clone Wars stars Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Sam Witwer as Maul.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is currently streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes available every Friday.
