The Parademon designs for Suicide Squad recently surfaced online prompting director David Ayer to confirm that the creatures were originally meant to appear in the film.
When a fan asked Suicide Squad director David Ayer about the designs for Enchantress’ army, the director confirmed that they were originally intended to be Steppenwolf’s Parademons. The Suicide Squad director previously explained that the original version of the film saw Enchantress under the control of a Motherbox as she tried to build a Boom Tube, presumably opening a doorway to Apokolips.
With the confirmation that the original designs were meant to be Parademons, it’s obvious that there was plenty of changes made to David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Presumably the Parademons would have replaced Enchantress’ monstrous army that the villainous team fought across the film. Take a look at the Parademon designs from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad below.
