David Ayer fired back at a fan who claimed Suicide Squad tanked at the box office.
While Suicide Squad may not have been universally acclaimed, the David Ayer film earned enough fans to propel the DC film towards a $746.8 million worldwide gross at the box office. However, it appears one fan isn’t impressed by the box office haul of Suicide Squad and made this known to David Ayer on Twitter.
After David Ayer posted a message of support for James Gunn’s upcoming reinvention of The Suicide Squad, the aforementioned fan directly told Ayer that he believes the next film will meet the same fate as its predecessor by tanking at the box office. In response, a seemingly amused David Ayer roasted the Suicide Squad detractor by replying, “Dude learn 2 bizness.”
