‘Gotham’: Up-Close Image Reveals Detailed Look At David Mazouz’s Batman Cowl

A new behind the scenes image shows us a more detailed and up-close look at David Mazouz’s Batman cowl in FOX’s Batman prequel series, Gotham.

Gotham launched back in 2014 with the promise of revealing Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Batman. With that in mind, Gotham ended its five-year run with a hundred episodes and delivering on that promise. Although it was somewhat rushed, we were able to see teen actor David Mazouz don his cape and cowl, even though a double had to be used in some of the scenes due to the fact that he isn’t as tall and corpulent as the Batman himself.

That moment when we finally got to see David Mazouz in all his glory is enhanced by this image, which shows us a more detailed look at the Batman cowl his Bruce Wayne donned:

Although the series had its highs and lows, and maybe the last few episodes rushed to the finale, Gotham turned out to be a great telling of how David Mazouz’s Batman came to be and how Gotham evolved into the sick and twisted city fans have come to know and love.

Here is the official synopsis of the series finale of Gotham:

The series flash-forwards 10 years into the future, as Bruce is set to return to Gotham for the opening of the new Wayne Tower. A series of crimes leads Gordon to believe Penguin and The Riddler are up to their old tricks. However, when Bullock is framed for a murder, Gordon begins to piece together an even more sinister plot targeting the city, and a new figure emerges from the shadows to be the hero Gotham desperately needs in the all-new “The Beginning… ” series finale episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, April 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
