It seems that despite teasing from the producers David Tennant’s Kilgrave will not be appearing in the third and apparently final season of Jessica Jones.
According to a recent interview with David Tennant for Entertainment Weekly, the Jessica Jones actor reportedly confirmed that his character Kilgrave would not be appearing in the upcoming season. While there the article didn’t use any direct quotes from the actor it does say that the actor confirmed this as well as other sources that they did not name.
In addition, David Tennant reacted to the show being canceled after a long period of being quiet about the matter. According to the Kilgrave actor, he doesn’t think of it so much as the cancellation of the show as the show having three good seasons of life:
I don’t really regard it as a cancellation so much as something having the life that it should have. Three seasons of that story is great. Rather than thinking of it as something that was canceled, I think of it as something that had three seasons that will live in the memory.
From the look of things, David Tennant refuses to be depressed by the cancellation of the show.
