DC Comics Dominates Marvel In Recent Search Data Study

A recent study based on Google Trends search data reveals that the DC Comics universe is more popular than Marvel’s.

The debate between DC Comics and Marvel has been going on for years. Marvel has been dominating the movie landscape in recent years with the MCU. However, some say DC Comics has the upper hand when it comes to comics and television. Well, a new study done by USDish.com used Google Trends to find out which comic book brand is more popular in the United States. The poll numbers showed that DC Comics was favored over Marvel in 32 US states. Marvel won in 14 and the rest of the states couldn’t decide. DC Comics also won when it came to individual superheroes in 29 states. Superman was favored the most in eight states, Hulk and Supergirl came in second with seven, while Batman and Thor grabbed five.
